The Beauty Basement Co. is a small local business that only has a limited number of appointments available. The time allocated for your appointment is reserved for you.

When you book an appointment with The Beauty Basement Co. we guarantee you this time and ensure you are treated by a highly experienced professional to take care of your needs.

Our goal at The Beauty Basement Co. is to provide a quality service in a timely manner. In order to do this we have implemented the following policies.

As a client when booking an appointment you will be required to pay a deposit fee, details of which are as follow: 

• DEPOSITS ARE TAKEN FOR ALL BEAUTY SERVICES AS PER OUR BOOKING SYSTEM

Your deposit is not an extra charge it is simply held on an account for you on your booking and taken off your final bill. Please be aware that you will forfeit your deposit if you cancel your scheduled appointment within 24hrs, don't show up for your appointment or are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment.

I NEED TO CANCEL, WHAT DO I DO?

To ensure you do not forfeit your deposit please advise The Beauty Basement Co. on 0493 212 176, or reschedule online at least 24hrs prior to your appointment. If you do not give adequate notice

(24hrs) to cancel or re-schedule you will forfeit your deposit.

Call or text is accepted. 

Any cancellations made prior to 24 hours of your appointment time can be rescheduled and your deposit will be transferred to your new appointment time, not refunded. If you are not rescheduling straight away your deposit will remain on your account for you to use at a future time.

This cancellation period will give your beauty therapist a fair opportunity to fill your vacated spot. 

For your convenience The Beauty Basement Co. do have answering services outside salon hours so you can text anytime.

Last minute cancellations do have a significant impact on The Beauty Basement Co. and their clients. We have found that the deposit policy is the fairest way of managing commitment to appointments and it also has the added benefit of keeping our costs down for our wonderful clients.

We do however understand emergencies happen and will try our best to accomodate you. If you are unwell we ask that you please advise us and we will reschedule your appointment.

Reminder / Confirmation Service

We offer an SMS reminder service which is sent to you 48 hours prior to your appointment. You will also get a confirmation text when booking your appointment.

You must arrive on time to ensure you receive the full service you have booked in for. If you are running late, please let us know – we will do everything we can to accommodate you, however, please keep in mind that we may have to reschedule your appointment, or may not have time to complete the whole service, in which case you will need to make another booking.

At The Beauty Basement Co. we understand fitting appointments into a busy schedule can be difficult especially when you have children. For this reason we do allow children to accompany you to your appointment. For the safety and comfort of all clients, staff and children we do ask that children are well behaved and carefully monitored by the parent. Any breakages or damage of salon items or products will incur a cost to you the client. Small babies are also always welcome at The Beauty Basement Co, with easy access to bring your pram or capsule in with you.

The Beauty Basement Co. monitors the privacy and confidentiality of personal information and ensures compliance to all relevant legislative and moral requirements by instilling discipline in all aspects of our business.

Our objective is to protect and maintain the privacy, and security of your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. The Privacy Act contains a set of standards for the handling of your personal information known as the National Privacy Principles (NPPs). Personal information collected by The Beauty Basement Co. generally comprises name, address, contact details and certain financial information. The National Privacy Principles require The Beauty Basement Co. not to store personal information longer than necessary. We are committed to the privacy and protection of your information.
